School Shoes

Many people call me a fussy shopper, especially my mam, so it's always a struggle buying me shoes. In my primary school I was free of a uniform, but when I started secondary I was faced with the daunting challenge of picking school shoes. Today was the day I (and my mam) had been dreading, the big school shop. This consists of buying books, copies, stationary and yes, school shoes. But this year it was only me to shop for rather than my older brother and sister who have finished school now. Today turned out completely different than every other year though,it was completed in under 2 hours! And I found my school shoes straight away.

Womens Black Keds Champion Lace- 58eu

Now I took this photo off the schuh website, but I did actually buy them! I picked these shoes out because I hate ballet shoes for everyday wear(told you I was fussy) I really wanted shoes with laces, like brogues or these Keds. Now I easily could of gotten the felt version but I decided against it. They would be impractical for walking to the bus stop because with the Irish weather, they would most likely get soaked in the grass/rain. Of course, leather is longer wearing too! These shoes are so comfortable on too! They feel like regular runners. Yes,they may not be the most stylish shoes but they're not horrible looking and in the end, they're only for school. They price in at 58eu (which I don't find at all bad because I know they'll last for at least two years!) and they start at size 3 up to 8.

Hope you enjoyed! Where did you buy your school shoes this year? Or does your school have a uniform? Let me know! And don't forget to follow me on bloglovin'
